Spicy Hummus

1.Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid
- 15 ounces canned garbanzo beans, drained
- 15 ounces canned garbanzo beans, with liquid
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) hot sauce
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
- 1 raw garlic clove, peeled
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

- Balsamic-Dijon Vinaigrette (or fresh lemon juice):
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbs water
- Maple or agave drops to taste
- Whisk all ingredients together. Makes 1 serving.
- For Salad:
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 2 to 3 hearts of palm, sliced
- 1/4 cup canned white beans or chickpeas, or cubed tofu
- 1 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
