Next time you carve pumpkins or cook fresh pumpkins don't throw out the pumpkin seeds
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds
- 2 teaspoons melted butter (olive oil or vegetable oil work well) or 2 teaspoons melted oil (olive oil or vegetable oil work well)
- salt
- garlic powder (optional)
- cayenne pepper (optional)
- seasoning salt (optional)

- Ingredients
- 5 pounds firm, ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
- 3 1/2 cups sugar
- 8 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon red chili flakes
Hibiscus Tea Punch

Directions Bring 18 ounces (2 1/4 cups) of cold water to a boil in a small saucepan
- 3 hibiscus tea bags, such as the Republic of Tea brand
- 2 bottles Sauvignon Blanc
- 2 cups ruby red grapefruit juice
- 1 1/4 cups pisco
- 1/2 cup simple syrup, plus more if desired
- 1 small mango, peeled, pitted and cut into small dice
- 1 small orange, halved and thinly sliced
- 1 cup raspberries or blackberries or a mixture of both
- Cook's Note: Make sure the description of the Sauvignon Blanc is full of grapefruit and citrus scents.
