- 4 heads fresh dill (approx. 4 heads per tied bundle)
- 1/4 c. salt
- 2-1/2 c. white vinegar
- 2-1/2 c. water

- 2 cups water
- 1 cup farro
- 1 teaspoon anise seeds or 1/2 teaspoon anise powder
- 1 (1-inch) piece cinnamon stick
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup seedless red or purple grapes (about 1 1/4 pounds)
- 1 cup or about 6 small plums sliced in halves
- 1 apple, cored and sliced
- 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons honey plus extra for serving
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, or half-and-half yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon, for sprinkling on top

- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 Tbsp warm melted butter (1 stick)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups (about 5-6 oz) of fresh blackberries, cut in half (often available at Trader Joe's, you can use frozen blackberries if fresh are not available, defrost and drain them first.)
