Original Chex Party Mix

Preheat 250 degrees. Melt butter in large roasting pan in oven
- 6 Tb. butter
- 2 Tb. Worchestershire
- 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 3 c. Corn Chex
- 3 c. Rice Chex
- 1 c. mixed nuts
- 1 c. pretzels
- 1 c. garlic bagel chips, broken
Pumpkin Gingerbread with Caramel Sauce

Combine flour and sugar; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly
- Caramel Sauce:
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. butter
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- 3/4 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. canned pumpkin
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tb. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- Vanilla ice cream
Broccoli with Three-Cheese Horseradish Sauce

Remove broccoli leaves, and cut off touch ends of stalks; discard
- 2 lbs. fresh broccoli
- 1 Tb. flour
- 1 1/2 c. whipping cream, divided
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Monterey jack cheese
- 2 Tb. grated Asiago or Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 Tb. prepared horseradish
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4-1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
Spinach Salad

In a large bowl, toss together spinach, bacon, onion, mushrooms, cheese, and avocado
- 6-oz. pkg. baby spinach
- 6 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
- 4-oz. container crumbled feta cheese
- 1 avocado, peeled, pitted, and sliced
- 1/3 c. oil
- 2 Tb. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. mustard
- 3 Tb. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tb. onion, grated
Sauteed Mushrooms with Proscuitto

- 1 1/2 Tb. olive oil
- 3 c. cremini mushrooms
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 c. chopped proscuitto
- 1 Tb. chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

- 2 large Idaho potatoes, peeled and cut into 1" cubes
- 8 oz. smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
- 1 c. cream, divided
- 8 Tb. butter, divided
- 2 tsp. salt, divided
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
Easy King Ranch Chicken

- 12 corn tortillas
- 4 c. diced cooked chicken breasts
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can chicken stock
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 2 c. grated cheddar
Refried Black Beans

- 1 (15oz.) can undrained black beans
- 1 Tb. fresh lime juice
- 1 Tb. finely chopped red bell pepper
Oven Fried Chicken

Mix eggs, Tabasco, onion, and garlic in a large bowl
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 3 Tb. Tabasco sauce
- 1 medium onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled
- 1 whole (3-4 lbs.) chicken , cut into 8 pieces
- 1/4 c. Wondra flour
- 1/4 c. fine yellow cornmeal
- 3/4 tsp. coarse salt
- 1/4 tsp. sweet paprika
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil, for brushing
