Teriyaki Salmon

Combine all ingredients except salmon in a bowl
- 3/4 lb salmon fillet
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tsp fresh lime juice
Zesty Potatoes with Sour Cream and Chives

Seal Ziploc Zip 'n Steam bag and shake to mix ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies

In a large bowl, cream the shortening, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy
- Filling:
- 1 cup butter-flavored shortening
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsps baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 5 to 6 tbsps milk
Mini Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Slider Sauce:
- 2 lbs ground chuck
- 10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Parker House-style rolls, split and toasted
- Slider Sauce (recipe follows)
- Caramelized Onions (recipe follows)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp sweet pickle relish
- 2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Greek seasoning
- 1/4 tsp sugar

- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 large sweet onions, thinly sliced
Peppered Pork with Chive Sauce

Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with pepper, rubbing it lightly into pork
- 4 boneless pork loin chops, cut 3/4 inch thick (about 1 lb total)
- 1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 tsp cooking oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tbsp dry sherry or chicken broth
- 1 3-oz pkg cream cheese with chives, cut up
Dutch Apple Pie Jam

Bring boiling-water canner, half-full with water, to simmer
- 4 cups prepared fruit (about 1 lb Granny Smith or other tart green apples)
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1 box sure-jell pectin
- 1/2 tsp butter or margarine (optional)
- 4 cups granulated sugar, measured in separate bowl
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

To Make the Bread: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Bread:
- 1 1/2 cups pecan pieces
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 (15 oz) can pure pumpkin
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup firmly packed golden brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans
Easy Parmesan Garlic Chicken

Mix cheese, garlic powder, and salad dressing mix
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 2 lb)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Deviled Strawberries with Spiced Mascarpone Cream

Halve each strawberry through the stem-end, and use a melon baller or paring knife to scoop out part of the middle
- 1 lb strawberries, rinsed and dried
- 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp sugar (more if the strawberries aren't very sweet)
- 1 vanilla bean, scraped
- 1/2 tsp cardamom
- cinnamon, for sprinkling

Mix all ingredients together except buttermilk

- 2 cups flour
- 4 tbsp cocoa
- 1/2 cup Wesson oil
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1 cup water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 box powdered sugar (4 cups)
- 4 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla
- dash salt
- 6 tbsp milk
