- 1 medium potato
- 1 medium onion
- 1 stalk celery
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 lb butter (one stick)
- 13 oz. clams with liquid (2 6.5 oz cans)
- 8 ounces of clam juice
- 1 quart of milk
- 1/4 cup green pepper
- Salt-pepper- thyme to taste
