Zupps Toscana, Slow Cooker Soup

Slow Cooker Zuppa Toscana – a simple soup recipe that’s based off an Olive Garden favorite
- 1 lb ground hot Italian sausage (6-7 links, not including the casings)
- 2-3 strips of bacon, cubed.
- 2 large russet baking potatoes, cubed.
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups kale, torn by hand
- 2 cans chicken broth (canned works better than in a box)
- 4 cups of water
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream.
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Honey Spiced Glazed Chicken

- 1 package boneless skinless chicken thighs (you should get about 8 thighs per package)
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika (regular paprika works well too but smoked brings more flavor)
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (use less if you don't like heat)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Sprinkle and rub the chicken breasts with seasoning salt
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness
- Lowry's Seasoning Salt
- 6 bacon slices
- 1/4 cup regular mustard

- 2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes

- 1/2 cup sugar

- 1/2 cup dark corn syrup

- 3 cups buttermilk
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 3 tblsp lemon juice
- 1 tblsp butter or margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pastry shell (9 inch), baked
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 6 tblsp sugar
Blueberry Smoothie

- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

- 1 Pound browned hamburger
- 2 Cans Tomatoes (303 cans)
- 3 Cups Water
- 1 Cup diced potatoes
- 1 Cup diced carrots
- 1 Cup shredded Cabbabe or cauliflower
- 1/4 Cup rice
- 1/4 Tsp salt
- 1/4 Tsp sweet basil
- Pepper to taste
Black Beans and Rice

Add oil to pan on medium high heat
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 green pepper (chopped)
- 3 large garlic cloves (pressed with garlic press)
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 4 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp tabasco sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine (or dry sherry)
- 2 15 oz cans of black beans
- 2 cups of brown rice cooked (we use this rice cooker)

- 1/3 large carrot
- 2 tablespoons onion
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups hot water
