- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups unpacked brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons light butter, softened
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup water
- 6 oz mini chocolate chips (about 3/4 cup)

Sauce: Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl, stirring until the sugar dissolves
