Eggnog Pancakes with Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Place pancake mix in a large bowl
- 2 cups pancake mix
- 1 egg
- 1-1/2 cups eggnog
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 can (14 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce or 14 ounces jellied cranberry sauce

Combine ½ cup of melted butter with 6 tablespoons of sugar & 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 pan Sister Schubert's Parkerhouse Rolls
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 6 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
Firecracker Casserole Recipe

I loved this Southwestern-style casserole when my mother made it years ago
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 to 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 to 3 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 flour tortillas (6 inches)
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
Spiced Chicken and Rice

Top this dish with 1/2 cup sweetened, shredded, dried coconut that has been toasted to enhance its nutty flavor
- 3 Tbs. canola oil
- 1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 2 Tbs. minced fresh ginger
- 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup long-grain rice, such as basmati
- 1/4 cup golden raisins
- Finely grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1 cup frozen baby peas, thawed
- 1/2 cup minced fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup roasted cashews, coarsely chopped
HALLOWEEN FUNNEL CAKES

Stir together flour, baking powder and salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- few drops vanilla (optional)
- powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar (for sprinkling)
- large funnel
- 2 about 2 cups vegetable oil (for deep frying)
Almond Joy Bars

Line two large cookie sheets with waxed paper
- 4 c (8 1/2−oz) shredded coconut
- 1/4 c Light corn syrup
- 1 pk (11 1/2−oz) milk chocolate pieces
- 1/4 c Vegetable shortening
- 26 Whole natural almonds (1−oz)
Ben & Jerry's Heath Bar Crunch Ice Cream

Using a sharp knife, cut the candy bars into 1/2 to 1 inch chunks
- 4 Heath Bars
- 2 Cup Heavy or whipping cream
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 Cup Whole milk
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 Teaspoon Vanilla
Buttermilk Waffles

- 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- Strawberry pancake syrup and whipped cream, optional
Grape Chicken Salad

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 6 chicken breasts
- One recipe Sisters Seasoning Mixture, see below
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped celery
- 1/3 cup sweet pickle relish
- 2 eggs hard boiled, chopped finely
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise, or to taste
- 4 tbsp reserved chicken broth
- 1 cup green seedless grapes, halved
- 1 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 1/2 cup grated Gruyere cheese, optional
- 1 Package Sister Schubert's Parker house Style Rolls or 8 Sister Schubert's Dinner Yeast Rolls, sliced in half and toasted
- Sister's Seasoning Mixture
- 1/4 teaspoon tarragon
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Greek seasoning (Cavender's brand is a favorite)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

- 16 16 16 ozs. cream cheese, softened
- 1 1−1/2 1−1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 2 2 packages of refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 4 4 ozs. sliced almonds
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup raspberry or apricot jam (Optional)
