Prepare pasta as directed
- 16 oz thin spaghetti
- 12 oz frozen mixed veggies
- 2 TBS butter
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts (cubed)
- 4 oz baby bella mushrooms (sliced)
- 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup (see recipe)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup white cooking wine
- Shredded or grated Parmesan cheese
Hush Puppies

Mix dry ingredients together
- 1 1/2 cup corn meal
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 medium onion (finely diced)
- 3/4 cup cream style corn
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 jalapenos (finely diced)
Beer Bread

Preheat the oven to 350°F
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 12 oz beer at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup honey*
- 4 tablespoons (half stick) butter, melted

- 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
- 4 TBS butter
- 4 TBS flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp salt

French Toast

In a pie pan, beat together egg, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, sugar, and vanilla
- 6 - 8 slices of bread
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 12 slices of bread
Clam Chowder (Old)

Depending on how long you want to cook, set the crock pot to low or high setting
- 5 slices of bacon
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 2 ribs of celery (diced)
- 2.5 lbs potatoes (peeled and diced)
- 1 tbs all-purpose flour
- 1 - 10 1/2 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 3 - 6 1/2 oz cans minced clams
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 cups half-and-half
- 3 tbs butter
- salt and pepper to taste
No-Bake Cherry Cheese Cake

In a medium bowl, add cream cheese and gradually add in condensed milk
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 14 oz can sweet condensed milk
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 9-in graham cracker crust
- 1 21oz can cherry pie filling

White Rice: Rinse rice. In large sauce pan, bring water and salt to boil
- White Rice (3 cups cooked):
- 1 cup white rice (long grain, basmati)
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- For 2 cups cooked rice in recipes, use 2/3 cup dry rice, 1 1/3 cups water, no salt
- Brown Rice (3 cups cooked):
- 1 tsp olive oil (or sesame oil)
- 1 cup brown rice (long grain)
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
Scrambled Eggs

Combine egg and milk in small bowl until blended
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tbs half & half (or milk)
- salt and pepper to taste
Pasta Fagioli

Cook meat in skillet until no longer pink
- 2 15 oz cans great northern beans
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 yellow onion (diced)
- 4 ribs celery (thinly sliced)
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 15 oz can low sodium beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 2 14oz petite diced tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp dried marjoram
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2-3 splashes of Louisiana hot sauce
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 8 oz Ditalini pasta
