Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
- 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsps. garlic powder, divided
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup. butter, melted
- 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp. chiopped fresh parsley
Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

Melt butter in a large skillet, over medium heat
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 thick cut pork chops
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
Apple Crisp

Place apples in a greased 2 1/2 qt
- 7 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples (about 7 medium)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- dash salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 pkg. (9 oz.) yellow cake mix
- 3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- vanilla ice cream
Basic Margarita

Salt the rims of 2 large margarita glasses
- 5 fluid ounces tequila
- 3 fluid ounces triple sec
- 2 (6 ounce) cans frozen limeade concentrate
- 4 cups ice cubes

In a small bowl, dissolve 1 teaspoon sugar and yeast in warm water
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans, divided
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Brocco-Flower salad

Combine mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar; cover and chill
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 t. red wine vinegar
- 1/3 c. sugar (You can substitute Splenda or Sweet & Low)
- 1/2 head broccoli, cut into flowerets
- 1/2 head cauliflower, cut into flowerets
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. red onion, choppe
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 8-10 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
Slow Cooked Ham 'N' Broccoli

In a 3 qt. slow cooker, combine the first 10 ingredients
- 3 cups cubed fully cooked ham
- 3 cups frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
- 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup, diluted
- 1 jar (8 oz.) process cheese sauce
- 1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 1/4 cups uncooked instant rice
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 1 celery rib, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
