Seven Layer Salad

Place first 5 ingredients in a straight bowl in layers, lettuce on the bottom
- 1 med. head lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 2 pkg. frozen peas, uncooked
- 1 pt. mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. sugar. sprinkle on top
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, sprinkle on top
- 1/2 lb. fried bacon
- 6 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- salt and pepper
Buttrtscotch Dinner Roll Desert

Put rolls in a 9x13 in. pan, frozen
- 18 frozen dinner rolls
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 oz. box butterscotch pudding mix
Half Moon Cookies

Stir milk and flour mixture alternately with sugar and eggs
- Combine:
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
Slow-cooker Pot Roast

Heat the butter and sunflower oil in a large skillet
- 2 Tbs. unsalted butter
- 1 Tbs. Sunflower Oil
- 1 large onion, cut into wedges
- 3 lbs. boneless top round or rump roast
- 3 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
- 3 medium white potatoes, cubed
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 Tsp. salt
- 2 envelopes (1.4 oz. each) onion soup mix
- 1 Tsp. cornstarch
Hot Spread

Saute 1 sm. onion (chopped) and 1 sm
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 8 oz. cottage cheese
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 jar of chipped beef, cut up
Basic Cupcakes

Sift together flour, salt and baking powder
- 3 cups of sifted flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 cup softened margarine
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 3 eggs, room temperature
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups of milk
Carrots and Parsnips

- 4 lg. carrots
- 4 lg. parsnips
- 4-5 tsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 cup, milk
- 4 Tbs. butter
- salt to taste
Classic Fudge Frosting

Melt chocolate and butter over very low heat
- 4 square of unsweetened chocolate
- 2 tbs. butter or margarine
- 4 cups of confectioners sugar
- Dash of salt
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Hot Chicken Casserole

Blend mayonnaise, lemon peel, lemon juice, grated onion and salt
- Topping:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. lemon peel
- 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp. grated onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 cups cooked and chunked chicken (size to your liking)
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup sliced toasted almonds, browned in butter
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (any kind okay)
- 1 cup crushed potato chips
Softened Condensed Milk

Mix the sugar, water and butter in a microwave for 1 1/2-2 minutes until it boils
- 3/4 cups of sugar
- 1/3 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of butter or margarine
- 1 cup of powdered milk
