Potatoes

- 4-6 med. sized potatoes, grated
- 1 stick butter
- 1 pkg. Lipton Onion Soup
Strawberry Bread

Mix together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, sugar and salt with mixer at medium speed
- 3 cups of mashed strawberries-drain 1/2 cup of juice
- and reserve for topping
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 cups of oil
- 4 well beaten eggs
- 8 oz. pkg. of cream cheese
Rye Bread Dip

Combine all ingredients and pour into prepared, round bread loaves
- 1 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 3 tbs. parsley flakes
- 2 tbs. Beau Monde
- 1 1/2 pt. mayonnaise
- 2 tbs. minced onion
- 9 oz. pkg. shredded corned beef
Carmel Frosting

Add the brown sugar and salt to the melted margarine or butter until dissolved
- 2 tbs. butter or margarine (melted)
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar (sifted)
Baked Corn

In a saucepan melt the butter
- 2 Tbs. butter
- 2 Tbs. flour
- 1 1/4 cups, milk
- 1 Tbs/ sugar
- 2 cups, canned corn, drained
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, well beateb
Cinnamon Bun Cookies

Filling: In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, pecans, melted butter and cinnamon; mix until thoroughly combined
- Filling:
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 2 tbs, butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp, cinnamon
- For the cookies:
- 1 18 oz. pkg. refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- Glaze:
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1-2 tbs. milk
Oriental marinade

Combine all ingredients, mixing well
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of water
- 2 tbs. vinegar
- 1 tbs. veg. oil
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- garlic powder to taste

Taco Soup

In a large saucepan, saute onion abd brown beef
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 med. onion, finely chopped
- 1 can (28 oz.) whole tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz.)tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 1 can (14-16 oz,) whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- i can pinto beabs drained and rinsed (optional)
German Pork Chops with Mushrooms

Coarsley chop the onion. If the mushrooms are small, leave them whole; otherwise, halve or quarter them
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 lb. small mushrooms
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 ctr. cut pork loin chops (1/2" thick) well trimmed
- 1 tbs. olive oil or other veg. oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or crushed through a press
- 1/2 cup of dark beer
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
