- 2 cans (14 oz each) condensed sweetened milk
- 3/4 cup lemon juice

- 1 1/4 pounds boneless, skinless, chicken breasts (about 4 breasts)

- 2/3 Cup firmly packed brown sugar

- 1 refrigerated piecrust
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla wafer cookie crumbs or graham cracker crumbs

- 3 Tbsp. apricot preserves, divided
- 1 Tbsp. chopped crystallized ginger
- 1/2 tea. cinnamon
- 1 tea. lemon juice
- 2 lb. gala, fuji or winesap apples, peeled, corred and thinly sliced

- 1 egg white, beaten with 1 tea. water

Wash, drain and rinse beans
- Optional:
- 2 cups dried beans (northern or navy beans work well)
- water for soaking overnight
- 2 large or 3 small ham hocks (or equivalent amount of ham scraps/trimmings/ham bone)
- 8 strips bacon, cut crosswise into 1/4" strips
- 1/4-1/2 lb. lean salt pork, cubed
- 1 large yellow onion, diced
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 4/5 or 1 29 oz. can stewed tomatoes

- 1/4 cup lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

- 1 cup sugar
- 3.4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tea. salt
- 1/2 tea. mustard seeds
- 1/2 tea. cinnamon
- 1/2 tea. allspice
- 1/4 tea. ground cloves
- 1/4 tea. ground nutmeg
- 1 lb. rhubarb, cut into 1" pieces (to measure 4 cups)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup golden or dark seedless raisins
