Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat
- 1 pound orecchiette or other short pasta
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 12 ounces Swiss chard or mustard greens, stemmed
- 12 ounces baby spinach leaves
- 1 (15-ounce) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 cups small cherry or grape tomatoes
- 8 ounces ricotta salata cheese, crumbled
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

- 12 ounces crimini mushrooms, chopped
- 1 small red onion, finely diced
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
- 1 tablespoon ground sage
- 1 1/4 cups cooked brown rice
- 1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 cup oat bran
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 2 egg whites, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard

- 1-1/4 cups onion, finely diced
- 1-1/4 cups portobello or desired mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. finely chopped garlic
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup half-and-half or milk
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 4 slices bacon, finely chopped
- 1-3/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
