Pull Apart Pierogi Bread

To make the dough: 1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat
- The Dough.
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 package Active Dry Yeast
- 4 cups white flour (plus a bit extra as needed) 2 teaspoons salt
- The Filling.
- 1 (375g/13 oz) package bacon, finely chopped & sautéed 1 cup white onion, finely chopped
- 4 medium sized potatoes, peeled, quartered & steamed 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted or cut into cubes)
- 3 tablespoons cream
- 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese
- 1 cup sharp white cheddar cheese, grated

- 1 egg

3/4 cup milk or water 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Finely grated zest of 1/2 lemon
- 1 cup Italian "00" flour* or 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 6 cups vegetable oil for deep-frying
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Preheat grill to high. Brush tomatoes with oil and season with salt and pepper
- 8 plum tomatoes, halved and seeded

In a large mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger or 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1-1/2 teaspoons finely ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 2-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- Red cinnamon candies or other small candies (optional)
- 1 recipe Royal Icing (see recipe below) or purchased decorator icing (optional)
BAKED PORK CHOPS IN A MUSHROOM BURGUNDY SAUCE

Cook chops in butter in skillet just until browned on both sides
- 3 or 4 boneless pork chops
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 Cup burgundy wine
- Cooked rice
PAPRIKA CHICKEN WITH SOUR CREAM GRAVY

Mix flour and seasonings. Coat chicken
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. each salt, ground pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper
- 4 boneless chicken breast halves
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1 carton (8 oz.) sour cream
BEEF TERIYAKI

Slice beef into very thin strips
- 1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, 3/4" thick*
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 can (14 oz.) Beef Broth
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 4 cups broccoli flowerets
- 4 cups hot cooked rice, cooked without salt
HASTY PUDDING

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9” square baking dish
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. raisins
