- 1 package Pillsbury Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls refrigerated dough
- 16 sprays I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Spray
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar (not packed)
- 1/4 cup Slenda No Calorie Sweetener (granulated)
- 1/2 tablespoon light whipped butter or light buttery spread, room temperature
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon salt
- For Icing:
- 1/4 cup Cool Whip Free, thawed
- 3 tablespoons fat-free cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 tablespoon Splenda No Calorie Sweetener (granulated)
GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1/2 cup(s) boiling water
- 4 ounce(s) German's Chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup(s) cocoa
- 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 cup(s) sugar
- 1 cup(s) (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs, separated
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- 1 cup(s) buttermilk

Position a rack in the lower third of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F
- 1 cup walnut pieces
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground clove
- Pinch fine salt
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, diced and slightly chilled
- 5 large egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons brandy
- Filling
- 1 cup cherry jam
- 1/2 lemon, zest finely grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg white, for brushing
Gingerbread Cake Truffles

For the cake: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened, plus 1 tablespoon for greasing
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting, recipe follows
- 12 ounces white chocolate candy melts (or other variety that would be appropriate for melting)
- 1 cup pistachios, shelled and finely chopped
CAESAR SALAD DRESSING

Mix all ingredients together and shake or whisk until well blended

- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Worcestershire
- 1 clove of garlic (minced)

SZECHWAN-STYLE CHICKEN

- 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
- 3 tablespoons Szechwan spicy stir-fry sauce
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
- 3 cups chopped bok choy
- 1 cup broccoli flowerets
- 1 medium red sweet pepper, cut into strips (1 cup)
- 2 cups fresh pea pods, stings removed, or one 6-ounce package frozen peapods, thawed
- 1 14-ounce can whole baby sweet corn, drained and halved crosswise
- 1 7-ounce jar whole straw mushrooms, drained
- 3 cups hot cooked rice noodles or rice

- 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted butter, cut into pieces, room temperature

- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature

Mardi Gras Cupcakes

- For the Cupcakes:
- 2 1/4 cups cake flour
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons whole milk, at room temperature
- 6 large egg whites (3/4 cup), at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoons table salt
- 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened but still cool
- purple, green, and yellow food coloring
- purple, green, and yellow sanding sugars
- For the Buttercream Frosting:
- 20 tablespoons (2 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 1/2 cups Confectioners’ sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon table salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
MOM'S SCONES

Mix dry ingredients well. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse pebbles

- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1-1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. dill weed
- 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
