In a small bowl, stir together the cornstarch, sherry and water
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. dry sherry
- 2 tsp. water
- 4 tsp. peanut oil
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 Tbs. peeled and minced fresh ginger
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 16 snow peas, trimmed and strings removed
- 1/2 lb. fresh shiitake mushrooms, brushed
- clean, stems removed and caps cut into
- 1 -inch pieces
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 tsp. Asian sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt, plus more, to taste
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste
Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage - Food Network Magazine

Directions Place the corned beef in a large slow cooker and scatter the pickling spices on top
- 4 pounds lean raw corned beef brisket
- 3 tablespoons pickling spice (often included with brisket)
- 1 medium rutabaga, halved and cut into wedges
- 1 pound large carrots, cut into 4-inch pieces
- 1 1/4 pounds large fingerling potatoes
- 1 leek, white and light-green parts only, cut into 3-inch pieces
- 1/2 head Savoy cabbage, cut into wedges

- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- Lime wedges (optional)
Tuna Macaroni Salad

MIX all ingredients until well blended; cover
- 2 cups (7 oz.) elbow macaroni, cooked,
- drained
- 1 can (6 oz.) tuna, drained, flaked
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1/2 cup Kraft French salad dressing
- 1/2 cup MIRACLE WHIP or Mayo
- 1/4 cup chopped green peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 3 hard boiled eggs

- 1 pound lobster meat, drained
- 1/2 cup finely diced celery
