Shrimp Scampi - Everyday Food

1.Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat
- 1 pound angel hair pasta or Linguini
- Coarse salt
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
- 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, plus more for garnish
- 1 1/2 tablespoons freshly grated lemon zest
- 1/4 cup white wine
- Juice of 1 lemon
Skillet Hashbrowns with Eggs and Bacon

Cook bacon in heavy skillet
- 4-6 strips thick bacon
- 2 Russet potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/4 C chopped scallions
- S & P to taste
- 1-2 TBS unsalted butter
- 4 eggs

- 4 cups hot cooked medium egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Pat's Beer Can Grilled Chicken

FOR CHICKEN RUB: In a small bowl mix all the ingredients together and use for the grilled chicken
- Beer Can Chicken Rub:
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- For the Chicken:
- 4 pounds chicken, washed and dried
- Vegetable oil
