Ingredients

  • 10-12 large apples
  • 3/4 c white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 c apple juiuce
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • TOPPING
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cu[ps Rolled Oats (quick-not minute)
  • 1/2 c margarine
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Slice apples into a greased baking dish (9x13) until 1 3/4 to 2 inches deep
Pour apple and lemon juice over them
Combine flour,sugar and spices.
Sprinkle over apples and lightly ,mix
For Topping
Cut margarine into dry ingredients as in pastry
Sprin kle over apples and pat down
Bake at 375 for about 45 minutes-or until apples are bubbling up through the top
