Stuffed Pork Chops-Trisha Y

  • extra thick pork chops
  • diced onions (1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • chopped parsley
  • 2 Tblsp garlic powder
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • flour for browning



Step 1

slice pocket in pork chops

in skillet with olive oil sauté onions, bread crumbs, garlic and garlic powder, add salt and pepper

mix egg with chopped parsley

pour egg mix into skillet; mix well and remove to small bowl

stuff above into pork chops, close them with long tooth picks and coat with flour. Brown in skillet (may need to add some more olive oil)

place in 13x9 pan on top of foil rings. pour enough water into the pan to cover the bottom.

Cover with foil and bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 min.

Let rest then serve
