Creamy Mushroom Sauce

  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Serve over beef or chicken



Step 1

In medium saucepan cook mushrooms and onion in butter.
Stir in flour, salt, and pepper.
Stir in milk, cook and stir till bubbly and thick.
Stir in sour cream, heat through but don't boil.
