Beans with Smoked Sausage(Slow cooker))

Ingredients
- 2 lbs *Drier's* smoked sausage, cut into pieces
- 1 tblsp. olive oil
- 1/3 cup minced onion
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups dried white beans
- 2 cups water
- 1 tblsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 cans chicken broth

Preparation
Step 1
Saute sausage 5 minutes until brown in skillet. Place in slow cooker. Heat oil in skillet and add onions and garlic; cook 1 minute stirring constantly. Sort and wash beans. Add beans, onion mixture, water and the remaining ingredients to cooker. Cover and cook on high 6-8 hours. Check at 6 hours. If beans are tender, stop cooking.
