Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean boneless pork (? Tenderloin)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brandy
  • 4 green onions
  • 2 red peppers
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cu-p chicken stock or water

Preparation

Step 1

1) Slice pork into thin strips about 1 ½” long; place in bowl and toss with cornstarch. Stir in soy sauce and brandy and let stand 15 – 20 min. Slice onions lengthwise, then cut onions and green peppers into thin strips 1 ½” long.

2) In wok or heavy skillet, heat oil over high heat. Add pork and stir-fry until browned and cooked through (4 – 5 min.) Stir in onions and green peppers and stir fry 2 – 3 min. Stir in stock and cook, stirring until thickened, about 1 min. Serve with rice. Makes 4 servings.
