Ingredients

  • 3 cups uncooked elbow pasta, preferably whole wheat
  • 2 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • sour cream
  • 1 cup picante sauce
  • tortilla chips

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. Brown meat and add taco seasoning. Drain. Place one cup of cooked pasta onto each plate. Sprinkle on lettuce, prepared meat, and cheese. Garnish with tortilla chips and sour cream if desired. Top with picante sauce.
