Sausage Brunch Casserole
Sausage and cheese casserole
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella and/or cheddar cheese
- (or 1 c. of each).
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Cook sausage until brown, drain well. Line bottom of buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish with crescent rolls, firmly pressing to seal. Sprinkle with sausage and then with cheese. Combine remaining ingredients, beat well and pour over sausage and cheese.
Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until set. Let cool 5 minutes before cutting.
