Maple Glazed Grilled Salmon

Great quick recipe for salmon. Comes out great on the grill but could be made using a grill pan. I buy wild salmon
Ingredients
- 1/3 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
- 1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Mirrin
- 6 6oz. Salmon Fillets

Step 1
Mix all ingredients except salmon, reserve approx. 1/4 of cup.
Marinate salmon, skin side down in fridge for 30 minutes or more
Take 1/4 cup reserved marinade in a small saucepan and bring to a low simmer, ntil it thickens into a glaze.
Preheat 1/2 of the grill on high heat, other 1/2 on low
Oil preheated grill racks with vegetable oil using a paper towel and tongs
Place salmon fillets, flesh side down for approximately 3 minutes on high heat side
Flip fillets over (still on high heat) skin side down and glaze for 2 minutes,
Glaze the fish and flip the flesh side down on the low heat, until almost flaky (don't overcook, like meat it will continue to cook after being taken off the grill). brush some more glaze on just before serving
