Thanksgiving Turkey Dressing

Ingredients
- 3/4 c margarine or butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1 cup)
- 1 1/2 c chopped celery
- 1 T dried rubbed sage
- 12 c dried bread cubes (1 loaf of white bread)
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1 t dried thyme
- 1/2 t dried marjoram
- 1/2 t ground nutmeg
- 1/2 to 1 1/4 c chicken broth

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a large skillet.
Saute onion, celery, parsley and sage until onion and celery are tender.
Combine bread cubes with salt, pepper, thyme, marjoram and nutmeg in a large bowl.
Stir in margarine mixture.
Pour in enough chicken broth to moisten cubes.
Put in greased pan.
Add pads of butter on top before putting in oven.
Put in preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes.
