Cheesy Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 20 to 25 large white mushrooms, with stems
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz package cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz package cream cheese
  • garlic salt to taste
  • onion salt to taste
  • paprika to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Carefully remove mushroom stems. Dice stems. Saute them in butter until tender. Set aside to cool. Mix together cheddar cheese and cream cheese until whipped. Season with garlic salt, onion salt and fold in the stems. Stuff mushrooms and place on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle tops with additional shredded cheese and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve warm.
