Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup onion; chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery; chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 15 oz tomatoes; chopped
  • 1 medium potato; peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup parsley; chopped
  • 8 oz Clam juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 6-1/2 oz chopped clams; rinsed and drained
  • 3 tablespoon Light soy sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion and celery in hot oil in large saucepan about 2 minutes or
until soft. Stir in next six ingredients and 1/4 cup water. Cover and
simmer 30 minutes or until potato is tender. Stir in clams and soy sauce;
heat through.
