Three Cheese Dip Spinach Mix

  • 1 ½ Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 2 cups half and half
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp hot pepper sauce
  • 1 16 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach



Step 1

Defrost the spinach in a colander in the sink. When defrosted, place spinach in a clean dishtowel and squeeze until dry. Set aside. Melt butter in a large frying pan. Slowly whisk in flour and cook briefly to form a roux. Add the half and half and cook until it thickens. Turn off the heat and mix in the cheese, salt and hot pepper sauce. Set aside to cool. Add the dry spinach to the cooled cream sauce and mix thoroughly.
