Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) plus 2 tbsp margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt, optional
- 3 cups Quaker Oats
- 1 cup raisins

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven 350 degrees
Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy
Add eggs and vanilla beat well
Add combined flours, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt - mix well
Stir in oats and raisins
Drop rounded TBSP onto ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet - remove to wire rack
