Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup pan drippings from turkey
  • 2/3 cup Wondra flour
  • 1-1/3 cups chicken broth
  • 1-1/3 cups dry white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon leaf thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Kitchen Bouquet, if desired.

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour and chicken broth; mix well until completely smooth. Place the roasting pan with drippings on burner over Medium-High heat. If using large roasting pan, place pan on 2 burners. Stir flour mixture into pan drippings, blending well. Quickly stir in white wine, sage, thyme, onion salt and pepper. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until thickened and bubbly all over, stirring constantly. Stir in a few drops of Kitchen Bouquet for color, if desired.
