Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup hard margarine or butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cups oatmeal (not instant)
- 1 cup raisins

Preparation
Step 1
Cream margarine and brown sugar in large bowl. Add egg. Beat well. Add vanilla. Beat until smooth
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Add to margarine mixture in two additions, mixing well after each addition until no dry flour remains.
Add oatmeal and raisins. Mix well. Drop by tbsp for each onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until golden.
