Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 2 whole carrots, diced
- 4 stalks celery, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 28oz can crushed tomatoes
- 2 cans (14.5oz each) beef broth
- 2 whole bay leaves
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 \2 tsp. thyme
- 1 can (15oz) cannelloni beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15oz) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 c ditalini pasta, uncooked
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Cook meat until browned
Place the beef in a slow cooker along with rest of ingredients except for beans & pasta
Cook on low for 7-8 hrs. or high for 3-4 hrs. before serving stir in beans and pasta
Season with sa!t & pepper, discard bay leaves
