Blackberry Pie

Super easy, double crusted blackberry pie. Serve with ice cream and or whipped cream.
Ingredients
- Crust for double crust pie
- 4 1/2 cups black berries
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon brown sugar for top crust, optional

Step 1
Place bottom crust in pie pan, prick bottom crust with fork.
Mix berries, granulated sugar and flour in large bowl, mix until berries are well coated. Pour into shell. Dot with butter. Put top crust on pie, cut slits in top crust to vent steam.
Very lightly brush top crust with milk and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon brown sugar. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350°F and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until crust is browned. let cool 10 minutes before cutting.
