Ingredients
- 32 ounces of beef broth
- 12 ounce bottle of V8
- One envelope of Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb and Garlic
- 15 ounce can of diced tomatoes
- Half a bag of pearl onions
- Small baby carrots
- Potatoes, peeled and cut into bit sized pieces
- 1 1/2 pounds beef*
- It is worth spending a little more for the beef. A good cut of roast, sirloin, or tenderloin will make for tender beef bites.

Preparation
Step 1
Combine the beef broth, V8, soup seasoning mix, tomatoes, onions, and beef bites. (I also add some beef boullion paste for added flavor.) Cook on medium heat for two or three hours.
About an hour before the desired serving time, add carrots and potato bites. Season soup with additional salt and pepper if desired.
