Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb penne pasta
  • 1 5 oz can tuna, packed in olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 28 oz can, crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 c pitted green or black olives, halved
  • 2 T. capers, drained
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper(or to taste)
  • Italian flat leaf parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta in lightly salted water. Meanwhile, pur 2 T oil from tuna into large skillet and heat over med heat. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Stir in tomatoes, olives, capers and pepper, bring to simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in tuna. Drain pasta ad tomato mixture and toss, garnish with parsley.
