Preparation
Step 1
Place well trimmed sirloin in a shallow pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or upto 24 hours) in the refrigerator. Broil or grill sirloin for 12 minutes on each side, placing meat 4 inches from heat element. (Or grill or broil to your preferred doneness). Brush with marinade during last 5 minutes of cooking. This meat is tasty as a leftover.
Serving Size 4 ounces cooked meat.
Notes
NOTES : Note has a minimum 30 minute marinating time. Minus the marinating time This can be fixed in under 30 minutes so it really is quick if you marinate in advance. You can start marinating it the night before. This can marinate for upto 24 hours.
Add about a tablespoon sodium free meat tenderizer such as Adolph's to the marinade mixture to help tenderize leaner and less tender cuts of meat. I usually always do this and the leaner cheaper meats I buy always turn out tender.
