Creamy Mushroom Alfredo

Ingredients
- 3 c (8oz) rigatoni, uncooked
- 2 T butter or margarine
- 4 c (12oz) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pkg cream cheese, cut into small cubes
- 2/3 c milk
- Salt to taste
- 4 T grated parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 T fresh parsley, chopped
- Pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Cook pasta according to package instruction. Drain.
Meanwhile, in large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add mushrooms and garlic. Cook 5 minutes or until mushrooms are tender, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium.
Add cream cheese, milk and salt, stirring until cheese melts and sauce is smooth.
Toss hot pasta, sauce, 2 T Parmesan cheese and parsley. Season with pepper. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese.
