Ingredients

  • 1 pkg hilshire farm sausage
  • 4-5 boned, skinned chicken breasts
  • oil free italian dressing
  • 1 package celery, chopped
  • 3 onions, chopped
  • 2 bunches green onions
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 cans clear chicken broth (3 cups)
  • 1 1/2 cups long grain rice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Cayenne and black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cut chicken and sausage into bite size pieces and season with peppers. Put dressing in a skillet on medium high. Add chicken and sausage and cook until done. Remove and drain.

coat a deep pot with Pam. Place over medium heat. Add celery, onion, green onions, bell pepper and garlic and saute until crisp. Add meat, cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. add chicken and sausage and bring to a boil. Stir in rice, cover, reduce heat and simmer until rice is tender.
