Ingredients

  • 1 block oleo
  • 1 cup onion chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup celery chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • dash garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 pound white lump crabmeat

Step 1

In 3 quart casserole, put oleo, onion, and celery. Microwave on high for 5 minutes until completely sauteed. Add flour, pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Stir well. Stir in evaporated milk slowly. Microwave on 70% power for 4 minutes until thick, stirring once or twice. Stir in crabmeat and microwave on high for 5 minutes, stirring to keep smooth. If too thick, add a little more milk.
