Ingredients
- Tarter sauce:
- 1 lb. tilapia filets, cut into strips
- kosher salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonaise
- 2 lemons, cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup panko crumbs
- 2 Tbl. olive oil
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 Tbls. chopped capers
- 1 Tbl. sweet pickle relish
- Season to taste with kosher salt.

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
2. Season fish with salt and pepper. MIx mayonnaise with juice from 2 wedges (about 1 Tbl.)
3. To bread fish, place mayonnaise mixture, flour, and panko separately on three plates. Dredge fi sh in flour until thoroughly coated, then in mayonnaise mixture, then in panko. Transfer breaded fish to a baking pan, drizzle with oil.
4. Bake until fish strips feel firm, about 10 minutes. Move fish to top oven rack, broil until fish fillets are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
5. Serve fish tacos in tortillas with tarter sauce, tomatoes, and lettuce.
