Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/4-1/2 c. brown sugar (start with little amounts then adjust to taste)
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 T. sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. fresh ginger, minced
- 1/2-1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced

Step 1
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the beef with garlic in sesame oil. Drain most of the fat off. Add brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, salt, pepper & red pepper flakes. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Serve over steamed rice or in lettuce cups & top with green onions.
