Ingredients
- 90 Whole pitted dates frozen
- 3/4 pound cream cheese
- 1/2 cup Cointreau or Grand Marnier
- 2 each Finely grated orange rinds

Preparation
Step 1
Blend cream cheese and cointreau in processor. Leave at room temperature for 2 hours. Make a slit lengthwise in each date and return to the freezer. Shortly before serving arrange dates on serving dish. Pipe the cream cheese mixture into them. Garnish w/orange rind. Cover w/plastic and refrigerate.
Also, you can omit liquor by using
8 oz whole pitted dates 1 3oz pkg cream cheese 1/4 cup powdered sugar/1 tbsp grated orange peel. Makes about 27
Sprinkle w/additional powder sugar if desired.
