Ingredients
- 1 Stick Butter
- 1 1/2 Medium Onion, minced
- 1 Medium Carrot,
- finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 tsp. Parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp. Seafood Seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. Celery Salt
- 1/8 tsp. White Pepper
- 2 C Chicken Stock
- 2 C 1/2 & 1/2
- 1-6 oz pkg. Crabmeat
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in heavy saucepan over
medium-high heat.
Add vegetables and saute until soft,
about 10-15 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium. Add flour,
whisking constantly, until smooth.
Cook 5 minutes, whisking frequently.
Stir in parsley and seasonings.
Gradually add chicken stock and
1/2 & 1/2 stirring constantly.
Add crabmeat. Season with salt to taste.
Simmer 15-20 minutes. DO NOT BOIL.
Servre immediately.
