Baked chicken and mushrooms

Ingredients

  • butter
  • sliced white mushrooms
  • flour
  • marsala wine
  • heavy cream
  • chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • long-grain rice
  • rotisserie chicken
  • grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

melt butter in a large skillet, add mushrooms and cook until softened. Stir in flour, masala, cream until thickened. Stir in some water, parsley, salt and pepper. Sprinkle rice in a baking dish. Top with chopped chicken, the mushroom gravy and then cover with foil and bake at 350 until bubbly, about 35 minutes. Then sprinkle with Parmeseam and cook another five minutes.
