Ingredients
- 1 8 oz. can canned pineapple chunks
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon shredded orange peel
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 dash ground red pepper
- 1 16 oz. package small smoked sausage links

Step 1
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup. Add enough water to syrup to equal 1/2 cup.
In a 1 1/2-quart microwave-safe casserole, combine the syrup mixture, honey,
vinegar, soy sauce, cornstarch, peel, ginger, garlic powder and red pepper.
Cook, uncovered, on 100 percent power (high) for 4 to 5 minutes or until thickened and bubbly,
stirring after every minute. Stir in sausages. Cook, uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes.
Stir in the pineapple. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes more.
