Ingredients
- 1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 lb bulk sausage
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 8 oz can tomato paste
- 1 clov garlic, minced
- 1 tbs ground cumin
- 1 tbs chili powder
- 1 tsp dried mustard
- 1 ts[ dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 28 oz can chopped tomatoes, drained.

Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet, cook the onion in the olive oil over medium low heat, stirring until softened, about 8 minutes. Add the sausage and beef and cook over medium high heat until the meats are well browned. Drain off any fat. Place the mixture in the Crock Pot slow cooker and add the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine well. Cover, cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours.
