Preparation

Step 1

Spray a jelly-roll pan. Put 2 pie crusts in the bottom of the pan. You will need to piece them together until there are no open holes on the bottom of the pan. Place the sliced apples on top of the crust, spreading evenly. Sprinkle sugar over the apples and sprinkle the cinnamon over the sugar. (I use more than a teaspoon of cinnamon.) Dot the top of the apple mixture with small chunks of butter. Place the other two pie crusts over the top of the apples, pinching all around the sides so that the crusts don't allow any leakage of juices. Again, you will have to put one pie crust on top and cut/piece the other pie crust to fit to the ends. Bake for 55-60 minutes at 375 degrees.
Allow to cool about 10 minutes. Mix glaze and pour evenly over the top crust.
